Finally out of the 260s, again! 259.7 pounds. - 1.7 pounds today, - 3.9 pounds this week, - 0.7 pounds this month, - 20.3 pounds since May 1.

Whoa, that was a lot of weight to lose in one day! I did everything right yesterday, including not eating after 5 p.m., getting 8 hours of sleep, and exercising in zone 2 for 30 minutes. In addition to that, I skipped breakfast because I wasn't hungry and I got outside last night. I didn't go on a walk like I had planned, but I did get outside for a few hours. 

In the summer, every Wednesday night in our town there is a musical event at the local bandshell where performances are held. Last night the act was a 50s musical tribute band. We went as a family and enjoyed our time, until the rain came and made is miserable. I don't know how many calories I burned attending the event, but it was more than I would have just sitting in my house. It was a pleasure to get out and be with several hundred other people at this community gathering. With the summer Olympics on television it is so easy to stay in my house and watch that rather than getting out and being with people. Even though we were rained on, I'm really glad we went out. 

Today is going to be a great day. I have a full day of work and it looks like it will be sunny all day. I plan on getting outside for a walk tonight after work. If I do that and follow my plan I hope to not gain weight. After having lost so much weight yesterday I'm not expecting to lose weight again today. We'll see what happens today and we'll see what the scale says tomorrow morning!
